Role overview
The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate vehicle management, drivers, and supporting operations from the Dubai office.
Key responsibilities
- Control, manage, track, and coordinate the vehicle fleet.
- Arrange vehicle deliveries according to operational schedules.
- Report breakdowns and maintenance issues to the Maintenance team.
- Coordinate driver schedules with fleet management.
- Check and report fleet documentation with administration and accounts.
- Monitor driver licence status and report fines or penalties to HR.
- Ensure timely vehicle checkouts and check-ins at the yard.
- Coordinate equipment-delivery quality control with HSE.
- Keep delivery activity records with the operations department.
Skills and qualifications
- At least two years of construction or equipment-rental logistics operations experience and one year of fleet management experience.
- Proficiency in Hindi or Urdu and Malayalam is required.
- Good computer skills for fleet records, fleet-management knowledge, and good disciplinary skills are required.
- A UAE driving licence is required.
- Candidates must be based in the UAE and available for a face-to-face interview; freshers are not preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay starts at AED 2,250 per month, with the package based on experience and skill set.
- Benefits include medical insurance, annual paid holidays, mobile allowances, and other standard benefits.
Workplace
- Work is in person in Dubai.
Employment terms
The position is full-time and permanent.
