Key Responsibility
- Follow instructions given by Supervisor / Foreman & Clerk.
- Forklift Operator should be able to assess usage appropriate Forklift to handle de-stuffing & stuffing of Container.
- Forklift Operator should segregate cargo being de-stuffed from the container & load cargo onto the trailer or into the container in a safe manner.
- Ensure safety measures are taken prior to carry out operation.
- Forklift Operator should report break down of equipment to the immediate supervisor.
- To ensure Forklift truck are always in good condition and report any faults or damage immediately to the supervisor.
- To pre-check equipment before operating thus following warehouse safety procedures at all times.
- Prior to operating machinery ensure the respective area is clear of pedestrians or obstacles for safety purposes.
- To ensure mechanical / electrical defects to the allotted machinery is rectified to avoid wastage in time and cost.
