Role Summary
We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and qualified Lifeguard to ensure the safety and
well-being of all pool users.
The successful candidate will maintain constant supervision of
the swimming facility, respond eNectively to emergencies, and promote a safe and
enjoyable aquatic environment for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all pool activities to ensure the safety of swimmers and visitors.
- Enforce pool rules, safety regulations, and facility policies.
- Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.
- Respond quickly and eNectively to emergencies, providing rescue assistance when
- required.
- Administer first aid, CPR, and emergency care as necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities and equipment.
- Maintain accurate incident, accident, and maintenance reports.
- Assist with pool opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure rescue and first aid equipment is readily available and in good working condition.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Physically fit and capable of performing water rescues and emergency procedures.
- Strong knowledge of pool safety standards and emergency response protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred.
- Experience working in swimming pools, sports clubs, aquatic facilities is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility, professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional water safety or aquatic qualifications.
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare practices.
