Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Bobcat/skid steer loader safely for construction site activities such as digging, loading, grading, and leveling.
• Transport materials like sand, gravel, soil, debris, and construction waste within the site.
• Assist in site preparation including clearing, leveling, and backfilling work areas.
• Perform minor excavation and trenching tasks as required.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Carry out daily inspection of the machine (fuel, oil, hydraulics, tires/tracks) before operation.
• Ensure the equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any faults or breakdowns immediately.
• Follow all site safety rules, traffic management plans, and HSE regulations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other heavy equipment operators for smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and ensure safe parking after work hours.
• Support general labor work when machine operation is not required.
• Ensure efficient fuel usage and proper handling of machinery to avoid damage.
• Comply with all company and site-specific safety procedures and permits.

Requirements

• Valid Bobcat / skid steer operator license or heavy equipment license (as per UAE/local regulations).
• Previous experience operating Bobcat or similar machinery in construction sites.
• Good understanding of construction site safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and dusty environments.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety checks.
