What You’ll Be Doing
- Level Shoes is seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst trainee to join our Finance team.
- The traineeship offers hands-on exposure to financial monitoring, reporting, automation initiatives, and month-end closing within a fast-paced retail environment.
- As a Financial Analyst trainee, you will actively contribute to financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and cost control initiatives, gaining practical experience across core finance processes.
- Under The Supervision Of The Finance Team, You Will
- Contribute to the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and data validation
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
- Support the improvement and automation of financial reporting tools (Excel models, templates, dashboards, and other systems)
- Assist in monitoring and following up on Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely collections and accurate reconciliation
- Support the monitoring and analysis of Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)
- Track and validate recharges in line with partners agreements
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and support various Finance team initiatives as required
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
