Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager (Saudi National) to oversee legal matters within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This role will provide strategic legal support to the business, ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and mitigate legal risks while enabling commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders across commercial, operations, and corporate functions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (e.g., distribution, supply, procurement, marketing, and service contracts)
- Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements
- Support business initiatives by identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions
- Manage disputes, claims, and litigation in coordination with external legal counsel
- Oversee regulatory matters, including interactions with government authorities
- Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct legal training and awareness sessions for internal teams
- Monitor changes in local legislation and assess impact on the business
- Collaborate with regional and global legal teams on cross-border matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
- Minimum of 6–10 years of legal experience, preferably within FMCG, multinational corporations, or reputable law firms
- Strong knowledge of Saudi laws, commercial regulations, and corporate governance
- Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory
- Experience handling disputes and working with external counsel
- Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
