- A high-growth consumer business in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Head of Sales to lead revenue across modern trade, traditional trade, and key accounts.
- This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who can build a high-performing sales engine, tighten execution, and scale profitable growth.
- What you’ll own
- Set and deliver the sales strategy across channels (MT/TT/Key Accounts; eCom if applicable)
- Lead, coach, and performance-manage the sales leadership team and wider field force
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning with clear weekly/monthly cadence
- Build strong relationships with key retailers/distributors and negotiate commercial terms
- Drive route-to-market excellence: coverage, distribution, visibility, pricing, promotions
- Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category to improve execution and margins
- Create a KPI-led culture: sell-out, sell-in, mix, promo ROI, availability, returns, collections
- What we’re looking for
- Proven Head of Sales / Sales Director experience in FMCG/consumer (UAE/GCC market)
- Strong track record growing revenue through disciplined execution (not just relationships)
- Deep knowledge of UAE retail landscape, distributor management, and key account negotiation
- Commercially sharp: pricing, trade spend, promo planning, margin management
- Confident leader who sets standards, runs cadence, and holds teams accountable
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and high expectations

Skills
You’ll take full ownership of the sales strategy and delivery, leading and developing a high-performing team while building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and strategic partners.
You’ll drive forecasting and revenue planning with a clear operating cadence, and you’ll bring discipline to route-to-market execution across distribution, visibility, pricing, promotions, and collections.
Working closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category, you’ll ensure the business wins in-store and online, improves promotional ROI, and protects margin while growing market share.
We’re looking for a proven senior sales leader from FMCG/consumer, with a strong track record in the UAE/GCC market and deep knowledge of the local retail landscape.
You’ll be commercially sharp, confident in key account negotiation, and comfortable managing trade spend, pricing, and performance KPIs.
You should be the type of leader who sets standards, coaches hard, runs a tight cadence, and holds teams accountable — without losing the human touch.
Desired: experience across both modern trade and traditional trade, exposure to distributor-led models, and familiarity with e-commerce and omnichannel growth.
Arabic is a plus, as is prior Abu Dhabi market exposure and experience managing major UAE retailers.
