Responsibilities
- Teach programme modules and prepare lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical sessions, workshops, and field excursions.
- Develop and update teaching materials, modules, and assessments; collaborate with industry advisory boards.
- Tutor, mentor, assess, and provide feedback to students; supervise or co-supervise research projects.
- Contribute to research, programme development, CPD and short courses, committees, and college initiatives.
- Follow LJMU academic regulations and Oryx University quality-assurance processes.
Expectations and qualifications
- A postgraduate degree is required; a PhD with relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Tertiary-level teaching experience and/or qualifications are expected.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills are expected.
- Teaching, assessment, mentoring, pastoral-care, organization, and collaborative working capabilities are expected.
- Academic research publications, junior researcher mentoring, curriculum development, and tertiary policy experience are additional value.
