Lead enterprise automation strategy, scalable testing framework architecture, and quality engineering initiatives across Agile and DevOps environments.

Work arrangement
- Full-time role based in Toronto, Ontario.
- Work model is onsite four days.
Responsibilities
- Define automation strategy, framework architecture, and quality engineering roadmap; design scalable testing frameworks.
- Evaluate tools and architect CI/CD-integrated automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Drive shift-left testing, quality gates, automation standards, governance, coding guidelines, and reusable components.
- Collaborate across architecture, product, development, security, and DevOps teams; lead POCs, including AI/GenAI-enabled testing.
- Define automation metrics, dashboards, ROI measures, and continuous improvement initiatives; mentor QA and automation teams.
- Support performance, accessibility, security, and resiliency testing; use root cause analysis to prevent defects.
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in test automation architecture and framework design.
- Expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Robot Framework; strong understanding of UI, API, mobile, database, and microservices automation.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, shift-left testing, and quality engineering.
- Experience establishing automation standards, governance, reusable components, and coding guidelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled testing solutions and performance, accessibility, security, or resiliency testing.
- Experience defining automation KPIs, dashboards, and ROI metrics; mentoring SDETs; or contributing to enterprise-scale quality engineering transformation.
