Position overview
Quality engineering role focused on software product quality and reliability through manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain QA processes and standards; translate specifications and user stories into test plans and cases.
- Plan testing with development, product, and business teams; execute tests, document findings, and retest resolved defects.
- Perform regression testing, identify automation opportunities, manage cases and defects in Rally, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Test RESTful and SOAP APIs and use SQL to validate backend data; support continuous improvement.
Required qualifications
- Experience with generative AI development tools and Agile development teams.
- Experience translating requirements into actionable test cases.
- Database experience, strong SQL proficiency, and hands-on automation testing experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, communication, and documentation capabilities.
Preferred skills
- AWS cloud services, API automation, mainframe experience, and automation framework development for regression and smoke suites are nice to have.
