Manages mechanical design for residential, commercial, warehouse, and industrial building projects.

Coordinates mechanical drawings and documentation with electrical, ELV, architectural, and structural teams.
Design and project delivery
- Lead design and review of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, irrigation, STP, elevator, escalator, and piping systems.
- Ensure designs meet local regulations, codes, and project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve mechanical schematics, specifications, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with other engineering teams and manage documentation of drawings and consultant deliverables.
- Guide junior engineers and resolve technical issues.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers; review vendor submittals against quality and cost criteria.
- Conduct safety assessments, support commissioning, resolve system issues, and provide performance reports.
- Recommend efficiency-focused design improvements based on industry developments.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical certificate.
- At least 8 years of working experience and 5 years of relevant working experience.
- At least 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- ERP knowledge is required; SAP functional skills are preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
