Role Description
Software engineering role combining Java backend development, technical leadership, cloud delivery, and healthcare technology initiatives.
The role works closely with US-based clients and requires independent delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable backend applications and APIs.
- Gather requirements from US clients, provide technical solutions, and support delivery activities.
- Develop and maintain healthcare interoperability solutions using HAPI FHIR.
- Build and manage AWS cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support.
- Follow security, coding, and operational best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong Java development experience and hands-on AWS experience.
- HAPI FHIR or FHIR-based integration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments and experience with Python.
- Strong understanding of Databricks or PostgreSQL.
- Communication skills for direct work with US clients.
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
Good to Have
- US healthcare domain experience and knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and APIs.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum delivery models.
- Experience supporting production applications and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Five or more years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with onsite-offshore collaboration models and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
