Role Overview

Lead reporting and operations data science work in the ABGD group.

Manage intake, A/B testing, sales funnel analysis, and data insight delivery using Python.

The role prioritizes rigorous hands-on data science and applied ML over Generative AI experience.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to frame business problems as data science questions and scope actionable solutions.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, validate assumptions, and identify modeling approaches.
  • Build, validate, deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models end to end.
  • Optimize existing models for accuracy, robustness, and business impact.
  • Write production-ready Python and SQL code.
  • Work with large-scale data using AWS SageMaker, Redshift or Snowflake, and S3.
  • Challenge assumptions, validate results, and ensure models address the actual business problem.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

  • Have 5–7 years of hands-on data science or applied ML experience.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem solving, and exploratory data analysis skills.
  • Be proficient in Python, including pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn, and SQL.
  • Have experience with AWS SageMaker model building, training, and deployment.
  • Have hands-on experience with Redshift or Snowflake and S3.
  • Have delivered models from concept to production and maintained them over time.
  • Translate business problems into data science solutions and communicate results effectively.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning, is a plus.

In-Office Collaboration

  • Work in the office at least 3 days per week with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
  • Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations.

Employment and Timings

  • This is a full-time role.
  • Working hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
