Business Systems Analyst - Technology

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with advisor practices and business partners, take ownership of issues, and drive solutions through resolution.
• Promote advisor technology adoption, develop operational playbooks and documentation, and support implementations.
• Analyze trends and recurring support issues to identify challenges and recommend scalable improvements.
• Coordinate response to critical technology incidents, service restoration, corrective actions, workarounds, escalation, and follow-up plans.
• Support requirements elicitation and documentation, testing, issue resolution, implementation validation, and user manuals.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent focused on Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of incident management experience, including hardware, software, and network configuration and support, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience eliciting, translating, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organization, time management, customer service, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Travel up to 20% is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Power BI; related certifications are a plus.
• General understanding of networking, information security, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence and their business applications.
• Preferred experience implementing and documenting technology solutions for operations, security and compliance, audits, and third-party relationships.

Workplace

• Primarily virtual, with residence in the Columbus, Ohio area or ability to commute to the Columbus office as business needs require.
