Role overview
Lead civil and structural engineering design, analysis, and review for onshore and/or offshore oil and gas projects.
Ensure engineering deliverables comply with industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and review foundations, steel and concrete structures, pipe racks, equipment supports, and marine structures as required.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and calculations to applicable international codes.
- Perform structural analysis using STAAD.Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
- Check technical compliance, safety, and constructability; lead engineers and designers to meet schedule and budget.
- Coordinate across disciplines and prepare or review technical documents, reports, material specifications, and construction deliverables.
- Support FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Review vendor and subcontractor designs and interface with clients on approvals and progress.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech).
- Minimum 15 years of oil and gas experience in onshore/offshore projects or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of API, AISC, ASCE, BS, and Eurocode design requirements.
- Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
- Knowledge of concrete and steel design, soil-structure interaction, and foundation engineering.
- Familiarity with FEED and detailed design phases; strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
