We're partnering with a large global consulting firm to find a Lead Agentic AI Developer to design and ship Generative AI and agentic solutions for major enterprise clients, from first discovery through to production.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract: 9-month initial contract
Start date: ASAP
Experience: 9+ years building and deploying AI/ML solutions

This role requires an extensive background working within consulting firms, directly supporting and partnering with client organizations to deliver technology solutions.
You should be comfortable stepping into client environments, understanding their business context quickly, and building trusted working relationships alongside their internal teams; not just delivering from behind the scenes.
Beyond that consulting foundation, we're looking for someone with a track record of shaping ambiguous business problems into well-architected AI solutions, building them with production-grade engineering practices, and successfully getting them live.
What You'Ll Do
- Partner with data engineers, data scientists and client stakeholders to scope business problems and translate them into workable AI solutions
- Build and ship Generative AI and agentic applications, applying solid data science and ML fundamentals throughout
- Develop and deploy agent-based systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Deploy Gen AI services and infrastructure across major cloud platforms, AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Work hands-on with multiple LLMs and design advanced RAG pipelines
- Build ingestion pipelines for unstructured data, PDFs, HTML, images, and audio-to-text
- Own data quality, system architecture and coding standards across projects
- Implement and tune vector database solutions (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search)
- Operate within Agile/Lean delivery frameworks alongside cross-functional teams
What You Bring
- 9+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions, including extensive time working for a consulting firm, directly supporting and partnering with client organizations on technology delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Strong Python skills, with hands-on use of ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-learn
- Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling; Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar
- Comfort working across both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, DynamoDB)
- Direct experience building with LangChain and other Python AI/ML frameworks
- A portfolio of shipped work spanning web UIs, ML pipelines, and Gen AI/agentic solutions
- Familiarity with multiple agentic frameworks; AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph
- Working knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and deploying open-source models locally
- Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Exposure to model evaluation tooling such as DeepEval, FMEval, RAGAS, or Bedrock evaluation
- Bonus: background in computer vision, time-series/text analysis, or data visualization (Tableau, SQL, Hive)
- Solid applied statistics foundation; distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, and similar
