Landscape Engineer - Site Supervision

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and site-furnishing activities.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and project management teams.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and workmanship quality.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements before execution.
• Inspect works for compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee planting, paving, irrigation systems, and landscape detailing.
• Maintain progress reports, inspection records, and as-built documentation.
• Support snagging, handover, and close-out activities.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of landscape site supervision or engineering experience.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, leisure, or large-scale development projects is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of softscape and hardscape construction methods and materials.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in landscaping software, including at least CAD.
• Middle East landscape project experience is highly preferred.

Pay

• Pay listed as AED 1–2 per month.
