Role overview

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in landscape design, construction, or maintenance, depending on the role.
• Valid SOE (Society of Engineers – UAE) membership and a UAE driving license are stated as requirements.
• Knowledge of landscape construction, planting design, irrigation, drainage, grading, hardscape works, plant materials, soil science, and landscape maintenance.
• Familiarity with local landscape standards, environmental regulations, and sustainable design practices.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Revit, or other landscape design tools.
• Experience preparing drawings, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates, and reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction methodologies.
• Strong project management, coordination, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, monitor construction quality, and resolve technical issues.
• Immediate joiner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop landscape projects in accordance with client requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare landscape design drawings, planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation plans, grading plans, and technical details.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, structural, and MEP engineers and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, cost estimates, and material schedules.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for compliance.
• Supervise softscape, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and site-furnishing construction.
• Inspect sites for progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper installation of plants, irrigation systems, paving, retaining walls, water features, and other landscape elements.
• Monitor contractor performance and guide resolution of construction issues.
• Prepare progress and inspection reports, snag lists, and project documentation.
• Support project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Promote quality assurance and HSE standards; participate in project meetings and communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
