Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop landscape concepts, master plans, and detailed designs for residential, commercial, hospitality, and outdoor projects.
• Prepare landscape layouts, planting plans, hardscape drawings, construction details, material schedules, planting schedules, and bills of quantities.
• Design gardens, parks, courtyards, walkways, outdoor seating areas, and recreational spaces.
• Select plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers based on climate, soil conditions, and project requirements.
• Create 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and professional design presentations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil and MEP engineers, irrigation specialists, and project managers.
• Conduct site visits and inspections; monitor landscape implementation and review materials, shop drawings, and contractor submissions.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, quality standards, and authority requirements; resolve technical issues with site teams and contractors.
• Incorporate sustainable, water-efficient landscaping and irrigation; manage design revisions and timely project deliverables.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant landscape architecture or landscape design experience, including residential, commercial, hospitality, or public projects.
• Experience preparing landscape drawings, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and technical documentation.
• UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred; coordinating with consultants, contractors, and site teams is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, or other 3D visualization software.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign knowledge for presentations is an advantage.
• Understanding of planting design, horticulture, hardscape materials, grading, drainage, irrigation, local plant species, drought-tolerant landscaping, and climate-appropriate design.
• Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings; strong design, analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, manage time, meet project deadlines, and attend site visits.
