Role overview

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor’s degree may be in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
• The posting requests 3–5 years of relevant landscape design, construction, or maintenance experience, depending on the role.
• Strong knowledge is requested in construction techniques, planting design, irrigation, drainage, grading, and hardscape works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Revit, or other landscape design tools is requested.
• Familiarity with local landscape standards, environmental regulations, and sustainable design practices is requested.
• Knowledge of plant materials, soil science, irrigation, and landscape maintenance principles is requested.
• Experience preparing drawings, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates, and reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction methodologies is requested.
• Project management, coordination, organization, communication, and teamwork skills are requested.
• The candidate should be able to conduct site inspections, monitor quality, and resolve technical issues.
• The posting requests valid SOE (UAE) membership and a UAE driving licence; immediate joining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop landscape projects in accordance with client requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare landscape drawings, planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation and grading plans, and technical details.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, structural, MEP, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, cost estimates, and material schedules.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for compliance.
• Supervise softscape, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and site-furnishing construction.
• Inspect sites for progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper installation of plants, irrigation, paving, retaining walls, water features, and other landscape elements.
• Monitor contractor performance and provide technical guidance to resolve construction issues.
• Prepare progress and inspection reports, snag lists, and project documentation.
• Support project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Promote quality assurance and HSE standards; participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
