Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join the design and engineering team for a major stadium and large-scale public building project in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have extensive landscape design experience for large venues, with deep expertise in plant selection tailored to Middle Eastern climate conditions, hardscape materials, waterscapes, outdoor lighting, and landscape irrigation system design.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or an equivalent discipline.
- Total Experience: Minimum 15+ years of total professional experience.
- Similar Project Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in landscape design for large-scale stadiums or major public buildings.
- Regional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region.
Core Responsibilities & Capabilities
- Landscape Design Expertise: Demonstrated experience in landscape design for large stadiums and public buildings, including drought-tolerant plant selection for Middle Eastern climates, hardscape materials selection, waterscapes, outdoor lighting, and landscape irrigation system design.
- Technical Mastery & Site Coordination: Proficient in landscape design principles, hardscape specifications, and irrigation network design. Strong capability in managing overall landscape aesthetic quality and on-site coordination.
- Resilience & Quality Control: High capacity to work under pressure during landscape design variations and construction stages, ensuring strict aesthetic quality control throughout execution.
- Language Proficiency: Full fluency in English is mandatory. Capable of reviewing English landscape design drawings and technical specifications, and communicating effectively with landscape consultants. Deeply familiar with international landscape design workflows and standards.
