Land Surveyor

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform land, topographical, and construction surveys for project execution.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
• Carry out setting-out works for foundations, structures, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, alignments, and levels according to approved drawings.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate survey reports and records.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure accurate construction layout.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design coordinates and tolerances.
• Prepare survey calculations, coordinate data, and technical reports.
• Resolve site-related surveying discrepancies and technical issues.
• Maintain survey records, field books, and documentation.
• Support project handover activities and final as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise, high-profile, or mega projects is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments.
• Strong knowledge of survey calculations, coordinate systems, and construction setting-out procedures.
• Experience in topographical surveys, as-built surveys, and quantity calculations.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and UAE construction standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, and survey-related software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
