Established in 2007, Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) is a government initiative managed by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical & Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).
ADVETI operates five institutes across Abu Dhabi and is licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Offering accredited applied Certificates and Diploma programs tailored to meet the labor market demands, ADVETI covers fields such as Business, Information Technology, Engineering, and more.
Programs are designed in collaboration with local industries to ensure graduates are well-prepared for employment opportunities in the region.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role located in Abu Dhabi.
The Laboratory Technician will support daily operations by maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, assisting with experiments, performing quality control checks, and ensuring that laboratory spaces comply with safety and operational regulations.
The role also includes maintaining accurate records of laboratory activities, adhering to established protocols, and supporting academic and research projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining Laboratory Equipment
- Strong Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience as a Laboratory Technician
- Experience with Quality Control processes and protocols
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data and solve problems effectively
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team-based environment
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant scientific or technical field
- Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory compliance in laboratory settings
- Previous experience in an educational or industrial setting is an advantage
