Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Civil)

Summary Of Functions
Performing various laboratory tasks, such as preparing samples, conducting tests and experiments, recording and analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
They are responsible for ensuring that laboratory procedures and protocols are followed and that laboratory safety standards are maintained.
Additionally, maintain accurate laboratory records, order and receive laboratory supplies, and assist with the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and protocols.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform periodical service for all equipment in engineering and Civil labs.
- Supervise and help engineering and Civil students in their projects.
- Supply students with components and software as required for their projects.
- Prepare the equipment and software as required for practical and experimental activities.
- Maintain and repair different engineering and Civil lab equipment used in engineering and Civil Labs.
- Maintain and fix computers and software in the project Labs.
- Keep and update components and equipment required in Engineering and IT labs.
- Participate in external exhibitions and site visits.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- **Bachelors in Civil Engineering.**
- 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities as specified above.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Thorough working knowledge of educational and experimental equipment in one of the CEIT specialization programs.
