In Process Laboratory Technician

Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities & Activities

• **Testing & Preparation**
• : Prepare specimens and perform laboratory tests such as FAW, RAW, IC, and sample cutting.
• **Safety Compliance**
• : Conduct all testing using approved PPE (including respirators) and report "Near Misses" to the HSE Manager.
• **Equipment Oversight**
• : Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functional; notify management of upcoming calibration due dates or malfunctions.
• **Data & Documentation**
• : Record technical data in daily logs and equipment books, prepare graphs via computer, and support IPL documentation.
• **Quality & Efficiency**
• : Follow strict methodologies for analysis and contribute to cost-efficient resource usage to reduce waste.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• **Experience**
• : Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Education

• : High School Diploma or equivalent.
• **Core Skills**
• :
• + Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), Google Workspace, SAP, and LIMS.
• + Experience with composite material testing (Insoluble Content, Fiber Aerial Weight) and analytical balances preferred.
• + Ability to be certified for half-face/mask cartridge respirator use.
• + Strong ability to read and understand technical procedures and specifications

Working Conditions

• **Location**
• : Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• **Schedule**
• : 5 days per week on a rotating shift pattern (Day, Afternoon, Night).
• **Physical Demands**
• : Requires standing for extended periods and lifting/pulling various process tools and materials.
• **Hazardous Materials**
• : Involves safe handling and processing of regulated or hazardous substances.
