**The Role** We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Steward to support the smooth operation of our back-of-house at Gran Caffè.

You will be an essential part of our culinary team, ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organized, and fully equipped so our chefs can consistently deliver at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas including floors, surfaces, stations, and storage
  • Support the culinary team during service by ensuring a continuous supply of clean equipment
  • Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing food and supply deliveries
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen waste in line with hygiene and safety standards
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor
  • Comply with all food safety, health, and HACCP regulations at all times
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen management

What We'Re Looking For

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-first attitude
  • Physical stamina — able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy equipment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Experience in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage
  • Position: Full-time \| Dubai \| Competitive salary package
