Job Description
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, storage areas, and refrigeration units
- Wash and properly store kitchen utensils, cookware, and dishes
- Dispose of kitchen waste and manage garbage collection as per hygiene and safety standards.
- Replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service hours by preparing ingredients and keeping workstations stocked.
- Handle kitchen equipment with care and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Able to work in a **fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen** with constant movement
- **With prior experience as Kitchen Helper or Commi 3 is required**
- Typically works **long shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays**
- **Lifting heavy objects** (e.g., boxes of ingredients, pots, and trays weighing up to 15-20 kg).
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,050.00 per month
