Job Summary
Nuwa Sweets is seeking a hardworking and reliable **Kitchen Helper** to assist with daily kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will support the kitchen staff in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards, ensuring a smooth workflow in a fast-paced burger restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, peeling vegetables, and portioning ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Support with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Help with packaging take-away and delivery orders.
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Refill supplies and ingredients during busy hours.
- Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-food or restaurant kitchen is a plus (not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in food service.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
