About This Role

We are looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic customer accounts for Building Materials products (Cement, Clinker, and Blocks) . The role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing pricing negotiations, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of receivables in line with company policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing pricing strategies, securing new business, maintaining commercial relationships with key customers, and ensuring operational coordination for efficient product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Sales

  • Develop and maintain new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Manage key accounts including ready-mix companies, contractors, block factories, traders, and industrial customers
  • Achieve assigned sales volume, revenue, and margin targets for cement and clinker products
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to ensure retention and growth
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in line with approved company strategies
  • Implement pricing, discounts, and commercial policies in coordination with commercial and pricing teams

Commercial & Operational Coordination

  • Ensure proper customer registration, documentation, and classification as per company procedures
  • Coordinate with logistics, dispatch, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Monitor credit limits, outstanding payments, and collection status of key accounts
  • Ensure receivables are collected in line with agreed credit terms and company policies
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and customer demand

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Follow all relevant management procedures and operational controls
  • Promote safe work practices and responsible environmental behavior

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline will be considered

Experience

  • 5–7 years experience in Building Materials Industry (Cement, Clinker, Ready-mix, Blocks)
  • 3–5 years experience in Sales or Key Account Management
  • 2+ years experience in Marketing or Commercial roles
