The Key Account Manager manages and grows relationships with key HORECA customers.
The role focuses on sales growth, customer retention, account performance, internal coordination, and long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
- Grow existing HORECA accounts and acquire new accounts; serve as primary contact for key customers.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across products and categories.
- Analyze account performance, sales trends, margins, and customer profitability.
- Coordinate customer payment performance and overdue balances with Accounts Receivable.
- Work with Customer Service, Logistics, and Procurement on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Create account growth plans and sales forecasts; resolve customer complaints and maintain business relationships.
- Present account updates at sales meetings and monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements for new opportunities.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 4–5 years of UAE F&B/HORECA B2B sales or account-management experience.
- Good understanding of the UAE foodservice market, customer requirements, and distribution operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
