Position Overview
The Junior Research Analyst supports subject matter expertise in market-intelligence research areas including compensation, governance, activism, voting, and risk.
The role supports data collection methodology, third-party workflows, quality assurance, and timely data delivery.
The analyst performs manual data collection from global sources and works with Product and Engineering to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage outsourcer workload through proactive communication.
- Conduct data collection to preserve database integrity and keep data current.
- Perform systematic checks for data inaccuracies and operational inefficiencies under predefined protocols.
- Provide regular progress and challenge reports to the Vertical Lead.
- Own assigned daily and weekly tasks and ongoing projects within the research vertical.
- Train service providers and maintain clear, current process documentation.
- Continuously improve research products and processes.
Required Experience and Skills
- Entry-level role requiring an analytical approach and problem-solving attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to difficult workload demands, including time and resource constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Hybrid Work Model
- This role follows a hybrid work model.
- Employees within commuting distance of a Diligent office location are expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time.
