Role Overview
Support site execution and technical coordination for interior fitout projects in Dubai.
Work with senior engineers and project managers to build hands-on experience in fitout project delivery.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
- Work is performed in person on project sites, with travel between project locations across Dubai and the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site execution and supervision of civil, MEP, joinery, and finishing works.
- Prepare or support shop drawings, material submittals, technical documentation, progress reports, site diaries, and photographic records.
- Coordinate work progress with site supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, procurement, consultants, and authorities.
- Track material delivery, consumption, and wastage against BOQs.
- Support quality checks, snagging, de-snagging, punch lists, inspections, and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, HSE standards, and applicable Dubai Municipality approvals.
- Assist senior engineers and project managers with on-site technical issues, RFIs, approvals, and inspection schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fitout, interior, or construction projects.
- Working knowledge of fitout materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations across Dubai and the UAE.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE experience and experience with commercial, retail, or corporate interior fitout projects are preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Project or Excel is a plus.
- A UAE driving license is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HSE practices on construction sites, including Dubai Municipality and Trakhees standards, is preferred.
