Role Overview
The company is seeking a Junior Project Engineer with a Civil Engineering background.
The role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of painting and finishing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating painting and finishing works at project sites.
- Review drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials, and work schedules.
- Coordinate with painters, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Ensure surface preparation, primer, paint application, and finishing works meet approved quality standards.
- Prepare material requests, daily progress reports, and site documentation.
- Conduct site inspections, identify defects, and follow up on snagging and rectification.
- Coordinate with the factory and other departments for project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and project deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of painting, finishing, or interior fit-out works is advantageous.
- Applicants must be able to read drawings and use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are required.
- A UAE driving license is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000–AED 5,000 per month.
