Civil Engineer – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and fit-out activities at project sites and review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, production teams, and other disciplines.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily activities to the project schedule; monitor progress and timelines.
• Inspect work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate civil work with architectural, MEP, joinery, metal, and other fit-out activities.
• Resolve site and technical issues; conduct measurements, quantity verification, and material calculations.
• Monitor subcontractor workmanship, prepare progress reports, and maintain site records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and attend client, consultant, and internal meetings as needed.
• Ensure HSE and project safety compliance; support testing, snagging, rectification, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and relevant Civil Engineer or Site Engineer experience.
• Fit-out, retail, commercial, exhibition, or construction project experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of civil and architectural drawings, BOQs, quantity take-offs, site measurements, site execution, and project coordination.
• Ability to independently handle site activities and take responsibility for assigned projects.
• Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience, current availability in Saudi Arabia, and immediate or short-notice availability are preferred.

• Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; work location is in person.

Compensation

• Pay starts at SAR 10,000 per month.
