JUNIOR PRESALES ENGINEER

Role Overview

Presales and Proposal Support

• Help review customer requirements, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, BOQs, quotations, and solution documentation.
• Select suitable products and solutions and support system architecture, basic solution designs, technical submittals, and presentations.
• Review tender and RFQ requirements and identify technical and commercial bid information.

Coordination and Documentation

• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to obtain technical information, pricing, datasheets, and product availability.
• Maintain product information, datasheets, price lists, vendor quotations, and technical records.
• Assist with estimation and costing under senior team guidance; coordinate proposals and project handover across internal teams.
• Maintain trackers for enquiries, quotations, proposals, and pending technical requirements.
• Provide technical clarification and basic product and solution support to Sales.

Learning and Development

• Participate in product training and continuously develop knowledge of ELV, ICT, networking, and security technologies.

Education and Experience

• Mandatory bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with initial experience in Presales, ELV, ICT, networking, electronics, or related technical fields may be considered.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of CCTV and video surveillance, access control, and structured cabling is preferred.
• Understanding of networking, IP fundamentals, Wi-Fi, and basic network infrastructure is preferred.
• Exposure to ELV systems, servers and storage fundamentals, and basic cybersecurity concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing tools is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Skills and Competencies

• Good technical aptitude and willingness to learn; ability to understand technical specifications and product documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate with Sales, Engineering, vendors, and customers and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 3,250 per month.

• Work location is in person.
