Position: Junior Accountant

Compensation: Up to AED 10,000 per month + Up to 10% Performance Bonus

Total Annual Package: Up to AED 150,000 (Tax-Free)

Puffy is a Top 5 US direct-to-consumer mattress brand with over $1 Billion in sales is looking for a detail-oriented, self-driven Junior Accountant to join our lean accounting team in Dubai. You'll own day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting across our portfolio, keeping the books clean, accurate, and audit-ready while leveraging AI to do it faster and smarter than the traditional playbook allows.

You'll fast-track your growth from junior accountant to a confident multi-entity finance operator in under a year. While most early-career accountants spend their first few years on a single ledger for a single entity, you'll run reconciliations, close processes, and reporting across our full portfolio from day one. You'll support audits, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the entire RGG portfolio, and build AI-assisted workflows that most accountants won't touch for years.

Become an AI-Native Finance Professional While most accounting teams are still debating whether to adopt AI, you'll be using Claude, ChatGPT, and AI-native tools daily, automating reconciliations, catching anomalies, and pressure-testing your own output. You'll graduate from this role as the kind of accountant the industry will be scrambling to hire in 3 years.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and double-entry bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation)
• Prior experience with cloud-based accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online or ZohoBooks
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to and work with AI tools like Claude for Excel, Artifacts etc. in a professional context
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tools and processes

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with US sales tax compliance and reporting
• Familiarity with UAE tax regulations (VAT)
• Prior exposure to eCommerce accounting workflows
• Experience with Excel automations
