Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials to drawings and specifications.
- Construct, repair, and maintain walls, floors, foundations, and other masonry structures.
- Mix cement, mortar, and concrete; measure and cut materials for installation.
- Apply plaster, render, and finishing work; ensure work is level, aligned, and meets quality standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely, follow safety rules, and use PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized and coordinate with the construction team to meet schedules.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a mason.
- Good knowledge of brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and concrete work.
- Ability to read construction drawings is an advantage.
- Skilled in using masonry tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
- Pay is stated as AED 1,500–1,800 per month in one section and AED 1,800–2,800 per month in another.
