Project planning and delivery
- Prepare work programmes, schedules, and plans; monitor progress against project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare master schedules for tender and execution, detailed Primavera P6 activity plans, baseline programmes, and weekly site targets.
- Identify critical path activities and support delivery on time and to the required quality standard.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, labour, shop drawings, resources, and procurement dates with the project team.
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities to ensure work is executed in accordance with calculations and drawings.
Reporting, cost, and claims
- Track weekly, fortnightly, and monthly progress, and report variations.
- Attend project meetings and prepare management reports and monthly progress reports based on site visits and project reviews.
- Prepare weekly planned-versus-actual analyses and maintain programme monitoring records.
- Estimate material, labour, and equipment costs; monitor project budgets and spending.
- Prepare critical path and impact programmes for EOT assessments; support cost and return forecasts with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
- Prepare EOT submissions, claims, delay analyses, mitigation plans, and monthly project bills.
- Support assessment of contractor claims, variations, programme risks, opportunities, and additional-work proposals.
Coordination
- Coordinate project plans with other departments and stakeholders to integrate project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and vendors to keep work aligned with scheduled activities.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Five years of construction or interior fit-out experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Civil Engineering related to interior fit-out works.
Required skills and tools
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for detailed master schedules and tender programmes, including manpower, resource, and cost loading.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create baseline programmes with cost resources and track and monitor project progress.
- Knowledge of documentation processes; strong numerical, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Compensation and employment
- Full-time position with pay listed as AED 3,000–8,000 per month.
