Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage local and international procurement.
The role covers supplier management, commercial negotiation, purchasing execution, import coordination, and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Manage local and international procurement from quotation through supply and receipt.
- Research and evaluate suppliers and build sustainable commercial relationships.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
- Track purchase orders, shipments, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate purchasing needs and execution with internal departments.
- Review purchase orders, invoices, and related procurement documents.
- Monitor supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate purchasing, importing, shipping, and related parties.
- Identify supplier alternatives and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Prepare procurement reports and track order status and costs.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Four to eight years of practical procurement experience.
- Proven local and international purchasing experience.
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management experience.
- Full spoken and written English proficiency.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and commercial terms.
- Strong organisation, follow-up, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchase orders simultaneously.
- ERP or Odoo experience is an additional advantage.
Compensation
- Monthly pay is listed as SAR 2,917.35 to SAR 6,362.79.
Work Location
- The work location is in person in Riyadh.
