Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications; perform load calculations and prepare load schedules.
• Design and supervise electrical power, lighting, socket outlets, and distribution systems.
• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Supervise site installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate cable sizes, breakers, distribution boards, cable trays, conduits, and containment systems.
• Supervise wiring, cable pulling, termination, and testing activities.
• Coordinate BMS and control systems, monitoring points, BMS drawings, interfaces, and electrical/MEP system integration.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, architectural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical reports.
• Conduct electrical inspections and testing; review insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, and protection-device test results.
• Follow up testing and commissioning, BMS integration, functional testing, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, applicable international standards, and project specifications; resolve technical issues with project stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience in electrical design, load calculations, installation, and site supervision.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical power, lighting, distribution systems, cables, panels, and containment systems.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; practical experience with Revit MEP, ETAP, and DIALux.
• Practical BMS experience, including integration, control points, and electrical/MEP system interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and BMS drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Fluent written and spoken English; valid Saudi Council of Engineers classification and accreditation.
• Able to work on-site and follow works through installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Laboratory, hospital, healthcare, or MEP project experience is highly preferred.

Pay

• Pay is SAR 4,000–5,500 per month.
