Role and location

Qualifications and experience

• Hold an ACCA, CPA, or CFA qualification, or a bachelor's degree or higher in international business or a related field.
• Applicants with ACCA, CPA, or CFA qualifications need at least 5 years of relevant experience; applicants with an international business or equivalent degree need at least 8 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry in the UAE or Middle East is mandatory.
• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or comparable accounting or consulting firm is preferred.

Technical and communication skills

• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel is required.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and relevant financial regulations is required.
• Experience in audit coordination, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, monthly and annual closing, and management reporting is required.
• Fluent Chinese and English communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage or support financial reporting and management reporting.
• Prepare or oversee monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
