Overview
- Manage and reconcile an intricate inventory of precious Gold and Diamonds, ensuring accurate valuation and tracking to prevent discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, specifically tailored to the jewellery industry.
- Handle sales and purchase transactions, including complex international transactions, accounting for duties, taxes, and currency fluctuations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and transactions
- Track and value inventory (gold, diamonds, finished jewellery)
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and pricing margins
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Assist with audits and implement internal controls to prevent loss or fraud
- Monitor metal rates (e.g., gold price fluctuations) and adjust valuations accordingly
- Work closely with sales and inventory teams to track stock movement
- Manage Attendance and operational expenses.
