IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT technical support for staff, instructors, and computer lab users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, printers, routers, etc.)
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, lab systems, and IT equipment
• Manage user accounts, access, and basic system administration tasks
• Ensure smooth operation of computer labs and training systems
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity checks
• Assist in setting up equipment for training sessions and workshops

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role (1–3 years preferred)
• Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with hardware maintenance and software installation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles is a plus
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
