IT Support (Fresh Graduate)

Role overview

IT support duties

• Provide first-level employee support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows, software, and connectivity issues; assist with email, Office, system access, and IT requests.
• Set up computers, user accounts, and software for new employees; support equipment and software updates.
• Monitor reported issues and follow up through resolution; maintain accurate IT asset and device records.
• Assist with network and internet troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or external providers.
• Follow IT policies, security procedures, and data protection guidelines; assist with backups, system updates, and maintenance.
• Provide professional, timely support and perform other IT-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; up to one year of relevant IT Support experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, computer hardware, and networking.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team, learn technical skills, maintain attention to detail, and support users with varying technical knowledge.

Preferred skills and certifications

• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting is preferred.
• Familiarity with IT asset management, helpdesk/ticketing systems, and Microsoft 365 is advantageous.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
