IT Support Engineer(F&B or Retail Industry)

Position Overview

IT Support & Operations

• Provide technical support for all restaurant and corporate office IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, handheld devices, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, email, and connectivity issues for end users across outlets and office locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and user accounts.

POS Systems Management

• Install, configure, and maintain restaurant POS systems, terminals, receipt printers, kitchen printers, and payment devices.
• Troubleshoot POS-related issues including billing, menu updates, user access, and transaction failures.
• Coordinate with POS vendors for maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Support integration between POS systems and back-office applications.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email setup, and troubleshooting in Microsoft 365.
• Administer Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related services.
• Support password resets, security settings, and mailbox management.
• Ensure proper license management and user onboarding/offboarding.

Network & Infrastructure

• Maintain internet connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall systems across all outlets.
• Monitor server health, backups, system updates, and security patches.
• Ensure the uptime of restaurant systems during operational hours.
• Coordinate IT setup for new restaurant openings and renovations.

IT Asset & Security Management

• Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and accessories.
• Ensure regular data backup and antivirus/security compliance.
• Assist in implementing IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and system access controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems (restaurant/retail).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of networking, firewall, printers, Windows systems, and basic server administration.
• Ability to travel between outlets and provide on-site support when required.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with restaurant management systems and POS integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud systems, backups, and CCTV support.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
