IT Support Engineer

Role overview

IT support and systems

• Support computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other employee IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and connectivity issues; install, configure, and update operating systems and business applications.
• Maintain office networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations; monitor system performance and coordinate with external providers.
• Maintain antivirus, firewall, and security updates.

Software, security, and assets

• Support company software and ERP implementation, configuration, maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, data migration, and user training.
• Ensure backups are performed and available; protect confidential information and support data recovery and system restoration.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and records of equipment allocation, transfers, repairs, replacements, software licenses, warranties, and renewals.
• Recommend IT equipment upgrades and replacements.
• Record IT issues, service requests, maintenance, and system changes; prepare reports and maintain IT policies and user documentation.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, email systems, and computer hardware.
• Basic knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, data backup, and user access management.
• ERP or business management software support experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and coordinate with vendors.
• Good command of English.

Compensation

• Pay is up to AED 6,000 per month.

• Work location is in person.
