IT Support Engineer (CCTV, Intercom & Networking)

About This Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure along with security and low-current systems such as CCTV, intercom, and structured cabling. This role combines IT support with ELV system expertise to ensure smooth operation of all technical systems across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/Analog), including NVR/DVR setup and remote access
• Manage and troubleshoot intercom systems (audio/video)
• Perform structured cabling for data, internet, and telephone networks (CAT6, fiber optic)
• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and access points
• Provide IT support for hardware, software, printers, and end-user devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Ensure proper IP addressing, network security, and system backups
• Assist in installation and maintenance of access control and other ELV systems
• Maintain documentation of network layouts, IP schemes, and system configurations
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
• Ensure all installations follow safety standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support / ELV systems (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua)
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure
• Familiarity with intercom and access control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot both IT and low-voltage systems efficiently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with remote system access and mobile integration (CCTV/apps)
• Knowledge of firewall configuration and network security
• Understanding of server environments and backup systems
• UAE driving license is an advantage
