About This Role
IT Support Specialist
We are looking for a reliable and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems and equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain internet connectivity, network systems, and office IT infrastructure.
- Install and update operating systems, antivirus software, and company applications.
- Respond to IT support requests through onsite or remote assistance.
- Maintain records of IT inventory, licenses, and equipment.
- Assist in data backup and basic cybersecurity procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
- Support meeting room setups, video conferencing systems, and office technology requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CCTV, biometric systems, or ERP support is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network administration.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Job Details
- Position: Full-Time
- Location: Abu Dhabi
- Salary: To be discussed during the interview
