The Application Support Analyst supports, maintains, and enhances business-critical enterprise applications as part of the Applications and Integration team.
The role helps keep systems reliable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
Key duties
- Provide day-to-day application support and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Support users and work with stakeholders, IT teams, and external suppliers.
- Assist with upgrades, enhancements, configuration changes, and application-performance monitoring.
- Maintain support documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Contribute to testing, user training, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in incident escalation and out-of-hours support when required.
Ideal candidate
- Experience supporting business applications in an IT or business environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, prioritise workloads, and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new technologies.
