Support the Support Functions Manager with IT solution activities in the Operational Excellence Department.
Bridge business requirements and technology solutions by working with Operational Excellence stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
- Identify operational IT solution needs for Operational Excellence, finance, and HR functions and support plans to address them.
- Assess processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement solutions using process improvement methods where appropriate.
- Evaluate software options, support vendor management, and align solutions with IT department objectives and business goals.
- Contribute to projects, perform risk assessments, support timely delivery, and improve implementation processes.
- Review functional and technical designs for finance and HR applications and manage requirements changes through formal change control.
- Configure applications to functional specifications and ensure developed solutions are reviewed and formally documented.
- Support training recommendations, continuous improvement, policy implementation, and departmental reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, information technology, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is required.
- Master’s degree in operations management, information technology, or an equivalent field is preferred.
- Relevant operations software or other certification, such as Six Sigma, is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English is required.
- Five years of experience in the same field is required.
